About the Head of Technology Operation Role:
As the Head of Technology Operation, you will lead and manage the operational aspects of the business. As part of the leadership team, you will also be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day transaction processing, optimising settlement processes, maintaining robust security measures, and overseeing all technology operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end transaction processing life cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing for merchants and customers
- Implement and monitor processes to minimise transaction failures and maximise success rates
- Collaborate with technical teams to address and resolve transaction-related issues promptly
- Manage settlement processes and time lines to ensure timely and accurate fund disbursements to merchants
- Establish and maintain reconciliation procedures to verify the accuracy of transaction records, settlement amounts, and bank statements
- Lead a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations
To be successful in this Head of Technology Operation role, you will require an understanding of the specific needs and challenges of the payment industry/big transaction volume and designing tailored digital solutions to address them effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience with minimum of five years' working experience in a senior operations role in the payment or financial services industry
- In-depth knowledge of payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, and security practices
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and developing operational teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and data protection laws
