Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are seeking an adaptable and highly organised Event Administrator to join the Events Team, within Campus Life.
This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in Events, work collaboratively in a fast paced and passionate team, and contribute to providing quality services to enhance, support and serve the University community through a wide range of events and conferences.
You will be responsible for providing administrative and internal support, including fielding new enquiries for the Events Team, setting up and attending briefing meetings with the Relationship Manager, and writing up event and conference proposals.
You will also be involved with preparing event and conference budgets and assisting the Events coordinators with financial administrative tasks.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), permanent opportunity.
The remuneration is $50,700 - $62,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised, capable of prioritising incoming work effectively, and have good time management. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels.
You will be an effective communicator, with a high level of written and spoken English. You will also be adaptable to changing situations and priorities.
