- Maintain and develop Wix's data execution and orchestration platform using Apache Airflow
- Provide an in-house infrastructure for data engineers to write their own Python serverless functions and data ingestion pipelines
- Manage Spark as a Service solution for the Data Guild using AWS EMR as the engine and internal microservices
- Provide best practices and guidance to the entire Data Guild at Wix
- A Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in the data world and Python programming
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and an expert designing, developing and implementing large-scale projects in the cloud
- Familiarity with Airflow, EMR, Kubernetes or any big data infrastructure- an advantage
- Have a data-driven approach, utilizing real-life data as the foundation for making informed decisions, mirroring the way we design and implement comprehensive solutions
- A team player with good communication skills
