Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.
Your responsibilities:

- Show clean code practices and follow our high quality guidelines
- Unit testing / white box testing of developed software applications in development environments
- Presenting ideas for system improvements, including effort estimations
Your profile:
- Degree in systems engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, telematics or similar
- Advanced level with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Software Development: .Net C# with a strong focus on OOP and Software Design Patterns, Development in Microsoft Visual Studio, Unit-Testing
- Performance and Security should be something you take care and have experience in
- Beneficial skills: ZeroMQ, Google Protocol Buffers, RabbitMQ, SpecFlow, Ansible, Docker
- Desirable skills: Rust programming skills, Web-Services, Jira/Confluence, GIT, Gitlab CI, Scrum, at least C# 10, at least .Net 6, Debian based Linux
- Passion for software development and working in a team
- Ability to get familiar with existing software products
- Ability to research and apply learning’s to daily work
- Mindset for efficiency, productivity and creativity
- Interpersonal, communications and team player skills
- Good oral and written English; Swedish, German basics would be an advantage
