We are looking for a R&D control/automation engineer at ABB Oy, Large Motors and Generators division in Helsinki. In this R&D role you are responsible for control software architecture and interfaces between existing control software's.

This position reports to Technology Manager
- Drive-control, grid-control, and motor control of products
- High-level control and communication interface design
- Product control architecture development activities with the project team
- Selection of control and interface hardware
- Negotiations with suppliers, customers, and our other R&D teams
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering or electronics
- 1-5 years of relevant work experience
- Good communication and social skills
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English
- Organized way of working, willingness to take responsibility and customer-focused service mindset
